One is not enough
Everyday is barely sufficient
Through you prayers are answered
The world exists from the breath
God gave you to push
Onward with a mighty spirit
And flawless dignity
Mellow words lift
All burdens from others on to
your shoulder
Love that has no end
In every situation
A single touch heals every wound
Rubies are nothing next to you
Your value surpasses them all
With the blessings of your presence
Every week, a group of dedicated RLBC Doulas attend Santa Rita Jail (SRJ) to support our community's most vulnerable population– those who are currently incarcerated. We support people with any reproductive questions or concerns, attend births, and support during the postpartum time.

Offering support at SRJ
If you are interested in offering full spectrum doula support at Santa Rita Jail, learn more about joining the collective here. 

Please note that:
  • SRJ requires background clearance
  • you must attend an RLBC led orientation
  • you must attend an SRJ led orientation
  • we visit weekly on a rotating schedule 
  • we require at least a 1 year commitment
  • you must already be a doula or enrolled in a doula training
